Special Guests - Our special guests will be our 2024-2026 GFWC International President, Suellen Brazil, and GFWC Presidentelect, Wendy Carriker. We will also hear greetings from the GFWC officers within our Region. 

Service Project for National Children’s Advocacy - Meeting attendees are asked to support the National Children's Advocacy Center by participating in a Sock Drive and/or a Stuff the Diaper Bags Project. Bring socks in all sizes - from baby to teen! These will go directly to children and families in the Prevention and Intervention programs. As winter approaches, new socks are always needed and appreciated, especially as families navigate challenging times. The second option is the "Stuff the Diaper Bags" project which supports children in the Healthy Families program by helping fill diaper bags with essentials. These items can be purchased directly from their Amazon list - https://a.co/b2jGQtP and shipped directly to National Children's Advocacy Center. Similar items may be purchased locally and brought to the meeting.

The GFWC International Day of Service is September 27. Southern Region will participate by accepting donations to the GFWC Survivors Success Scholarship on the registration form. Suggested amounts are $5, $10, $25, or any level of your choosing. Our region treasurer will make the donation to GFWC the week of IDS. Please join with your Southern Sisters in supporting the GFWC Survivors Scholarship by adding a donation at the level at which you are most comfortable.
