Joyce Johnston has been a GFWC member for the past 45 years, and currently she is a dual member of the GFWC Temple Terrace Woman's Club and the GFWC Temple Terrace Junior Woman's Club in Florida.  Her passion is working with young women to help them develop their leadership skills.  Joyce has been the Advisor for the GFWC Temple Terrace Juniorettes for 25 years.  She is a Past Director of Junior Clubs for GFWC Florida, and she has held several GFWC committee positions.  A graduate of the University of Florida, Joyce is a retired Senior Loan Officer.   Joyce has been married for 51 years to her devoted husband and GFWC Booster, Tracy, and they have two daughters and five grandchildren.  Their daughters and granddaughters have all been GFWC members. 

Laurie O'Kelly is a member of the St. Andrews Woman’s Club in Columbia, South Carolina. She served as the GFWC-SC State President 2010 -2012 and has been a member of the Southern Region Board of Directors since 2010. She served on the GFWC Board of Directors on the Resolutions Committee and as Committee Chairman, and Convention and Meetings Chairman. 

Laurie is a National Board Certified Teacher and teaches 6th grade. She is married to David and they have two sons, daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters.

Tammie McCoy joined the Pontotoc Woman’s Club (MS) in 1997, and has served as an officer for her club, district, and state. She has been a member of the GFWC Mississippi board since 2000 and the GFWC board since 2010. Currently Tammie is serving as GFWC Mississippi Finance Committee Chairman, Southern Region Secretary, and GFWC Bylaws Committee Member.  Tammie loves volunteering in her state and beyond. Her passion is to assist others, supporting health, literacy, education, food insecurities, advocacy, and safety. Tammie loves living the volunteer spirit and realizes that through the work of GFWC, we can experience great unity in our diversity. 

Shari Carter began her GFWC club work in 1979 when she joined the GFWC Stone Mountain Woman’s Club in Georgia.  She has since held many leadership roles including Club President, District  President, 2010-2012 State President, and many GFWC Board of Directors positions. Currently, she serves as her Club, District, and State Parliamentary Advisor, GFWC Southern Region Treasurer and a member of the GFWC Strategic Planning Committee. She has enjoyed developing leadership skills through her association with GFWC, and making a difference in her community.

Outside of GFWC club work, Shari enjoys playing tennis, walking, attending her local Bible Study, and watching her grandsons play baseball. She has been married to Steve Carter for 45 years.

Cathy Geary has served GFWC Florida since 1989.  She began as a Junior  club woman, where she served through 2004,  and then became a Woman’s Club member through present. She has held a variety of leadership positions at the club, district and state level throughout her 34 years in the organization. 

Cathy's background is in Accounting and Business management. She has worked for Ascent Aviation since 2010 doing accounting and tax work as well as a small business owner. Cathy loves spending time with friends and traveling.  She has been married to Rick for 26 years, and they have two canine children, Buster (11) and Bebe (15).
